PAN Bingxing, Male, a CPC member, was born in 1976 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. He is a M.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, a winner of National Natural Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars.

His research area is brain mechanisms of stress-induced mental illness. He has published more than 50 papers, including renowned SCI-indexed papers like Neuron, Biological Psychiatry, PNAS. He won 555 Leading Talent Project of Jiangxi Province, New Century Excellent Talent Support Program of Ministry of Education, the Provincial Talents with the New Century Ten Million Talents Project, Distinguished and Excellent Professor of NCU, the National Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of 2021, and First Prize in Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, Second Prize in Natural Science of Jiangxi Province,  Second Prize in Scientific and Technological Progress of Military etc.. He is currently the Executive Director of Chinese Physiological Society, the vice Chairman of Stress Physiology Committee, the vice Chairman of the Stress Neurobiology Branch of the Chinese Academy of Neuroscience, and a member of the Professional Committee of Neuropsychopharmacology of the Chinese Pharmacological Society. In 2017, he was invited to be the editorial board member of Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, an internationally renowned academic journal.
